6 hours before we'd be home again disaster struck. On the highway all of the sudden we heard a lound bang. We pulled over at the next exit, called the insurance and they had us towed to the nearest garage. The damage, the front right spring. I guess the icelandic roads were too much and the spring gave up after 211.000 km.
Tonight we stay in a hotel, got a rental car and are going to explore the area a bit, or mostly a lake, since it's hot hot hot, especially coming from the moderate icelandic climate. To be continued!
